The compliance engine

Connect. Map. Review. Export.

One controlled workflow turns fulfilment data into reproducible material totals while keeping assumptions and gaps visible.

Connect Shopify

Synchronise fulfilled physical orders and the minimum destination data needed for German reporting.

Map product and shipment packaging

Record materials and weights once, with versioned rules for variants, bundles and shipping cartons.

Review gaps and totals

See unmapped items, evidence gaps and material totals before a report can be finalised.

Download LUCID-ready files

Prepare schema-validated XML, a matching dual-system summary and reproducible evidence.

A safer reporting workflow

Packaging reporting should not live in fragile spreadsheets.

Variants change, cartons vary, partial fulfilments complicate counts, and LUCID and dual-system quantities still need to match. PackRegistry keeps the underlying evidence reproducible.

Versioned packaging BOM

Model product and shipment packaging with effective dates. Historical reports continue to use the packaging configuration that applied at fulfilment time.

LUCID XML without guesswork

Required codes, exact mass formatting, report periods and official schema validation.

Privacy by architecture

The compliance ledger needs destination country and packaging events — not customer names, emails or phone numbers.

Readiness is a decision, not decoration

Critical blockers prevent final exports. Warnings remain visible and acknowledged corrections become part of the report audit trail.

Who it’s for

Germany-first, for merchants with real packaging data.

The founding beta is deliberately focused. It is designed for physical-goods workflows that can supply or measure packaging weights.

01

Shopify merchants

Stores shipping physical goods to private customers in Germany.

02

Own-brand retailers

German retailers selling products under their own name or trademark.

03

Importers

Cross-border merchants that need accurate German packaging allocation and understand that specialist advice may still be needed.

04

Shopify agencies

Partners supporting merchants with repeatable packaging-data setup and reporting preparation.

05

20–2,000 SKUs

The ideal first-wave store has a straightforward supply chain and one dual-system operator.

06

Evidence available

Supplier specifications, empty-packaging measurements or packaging purchase data are available.

12 August 2026, clarified

PPWR changes responsibilities for some scenarios. German reporting already exists.

PPWR applies generally from 12 August 2026, with important changes for some own-brand and import scenarios. It does not mean every Shopify store suddenly starts filing on that date. Businesses already subject to German system participation generally need matching quantities for their dual-system operator and LUCID.

PackRegistry prepares

  • fulfilled-order packaging calculations;
  • material totals and visible data gaps;
  • LUCID-ready XML and a matching summary;
  • reproducible evidence and correction history.

You remain responsible

  • registering in LUCID where required;
  • contracting with a dual-system operator;
  • reviewing and submitting declarations;
  • obtaining legal advice for ambiguous cases.

Frequently asked questions

Clear boundaries before you apply.

PackRegistry is independent preparation software. It is not a regulator, dual system, authorised representative, auditor or law firm.

Does PackRegistry submit reports to LUCID for me?

No. PackRegistry prepares calculations and export files. You review and submit them through the applicable official workflow.

Does the beta guarantee legal compliance?

No. The product makes packaging data more structured and reproducible, but merchants remain responsible for their legal position, registrations, contracts and declarations.

What store data does the reporting workflow need?

The design targets the minimum needed for auditability: commerce references, physical line items, quantities, fulfilment dates and destination country. It does not need customer names, email addresses, phone numbers or street addresses in the packaging ledger.

Do I need packaging weights before I start?

You need a defensible source for product and shipment packaging weights before a final report is useful. Supplier data, empty-packaging measurements and purchase specifications are all appropriate starting points; estimates remain visibly marked.

When will I be charged?

The first conversion is an application, not a subscription. No payment is taken here. The planned Founding DE price is €19 per month once a usable Shopify-approved app and its billing flow are available.

Is 12 August 2026 a new LUCID filing deadline?

No. PPWR applies generally from that date and changes responsibilities in some own-brand and import scenarios. German packaging reporting duties already exist for businesses within scope.

Founding beta

Bring your real packaging workflow.

We are looking for Shopify merchants actively selling into Germany. Beta participants receive hands-on onboarding and influence the reporting workflow before public launch.

This is an application only. No payment is taken.
